2020 Magpie Sports Awards Nominations are now open
$18,000 towards recognising and rewarding sporting excellence
This year we celebrate the Magpie Sports Awards’ 58th year. These awards are geared to recognise and reward outstanding achievements by sports people and their organisations in the community.
You are invited to nominate a sports person/team or volunteer who has achieved excellence in performance, selection in a representative team or notable commendation during the preceding year, February 28, 2019 – February 29, 2020.
Recipients of the award are not only formally recognised but receive a cash component to further assist with their careers and personal needs whilst continuing to achieve sporting excellence. Additionally, their organisations are rewarded so they too can continue their great work.
Please refer to the REVISED Magpie Sports Awards Guidelines prior to submitting a nomination to ensure your nominee is eligible.
Nominations close 5pm Friday, 6 March, 2020.
LATE entries will NOT be considered. Only nominations that are received in the appropriate format (online form) by the closing date will be accepted.

Nominations close 5pm Friday, 6 March 2020.
Finalists will be notified by early April and invited to attend the Magpie Sports Awards Gala night on Friday, 29 May 2020 in The Lounge at Wests Ashfield, where the winners will be announced.
